Fooling The Law

One night me and a friend (Tyler) were fishing and smoking at the city reservoir. We had just picked up earlier in the night. (We had a an oz and maybe a quarter) Where we smoke is very enclosed but there are no woods or tall grass) The water is about 4 or 5 feet deep. So anyway we're smoking by the water when Tyler and I hear a car coming down the gravel road. Of course it’s a cop. We knew he was going to stop. Tyler throws the j in the water. (Then reached into his car, grabbed the weed and threw it to me while saying "here throw this in the water”. There was no way in hell I was ditching it. I had to think quickly. The cop had to round a couple turns before he was in our sights...I had my sunglasses case in my pocket, I quickly put the sack in the case and wrapped the case in an old plastic grocery sack I found in Tyler’s car. I took my line and wrapped it as quickly and tightly as I could around the oval shaped case wrapped in a plastic sack. I threw out my line and waited for the cop to stop. What do u know, he turns on his lights and tells us to drop everything. So we do as he says and keep our hands up. Unfortunately we had the stiffler type cop who would die before letting 2 teens get away with nothing. Within the first 3 or 4 minutes he was there, he asks "So where is the dope gentleman?" after a moment of awkward silence I say "we don’t have any dope sir" and he looks at me and says "are you sure about that" I say "positive sir" anyway he asks what we're doing and I felt like saying what the fuck does it look like, but instead reply calmly saying "just fishin" after searching Tyler’s car and us, he tells us he has to go and writes us a couple curfew tickets. As soon as he's out of our view we bolt back to our fishing spot, I reeled in slowly. Me and Tyler could not stop laughing the whole time I was reeling. We were so happy to see that white plastic arise from the water. Tyler netted our stash and made sure noting got wet. My sunglasses case didn’t even get a drop of water on it. There’s nothing better than fooling the law!
