Dorm Smoking

My friends and I never really smoked a lot during the week mostly during the weekends. Well one week we decided to smoke on a Monday since we were bored. We had a 8th which usually last us a few times since we just use a homemade bong. So we smoked 2 bowls in our dorm room (which is obviously a bad idea now) without a proper set-up. Well needless to say we got away with it and went through our normal rituals of halo and food. Can't complain with that. The next day rolls around and we decide to do it the same time and everything, nothing changes and we get baked beyond belief. The 3rd day in a row rolls around (yes we're not hardcore smokers but this is big for us) and after the ritual I think to myself, shit we haven't got caught yet, this is sweet. Well we finish the night and anticipate tomorrow.
The night rolls around and we decide to do some drinking. We only have a few beers because we know that the "other stuff" is waiting for us. So we're ready to smoke and we end up doing 2 bowls and have an intermission between them (restroom). So after getting back to the room we finish the last bowl and chill out, feeling high as ever. We then hear a loud knock on the door which my roommate looks through and turns around in utter shock and says, "Its the POLICE!!!". At this point we all are freaking out, 3 of us, and go into shock. The cops knock for 2 minutes at least and we just don't know what to do so I hide the stash and finally answer the door. He asks if they can come in and I’m like "sure" trying to act cool. He then asks us why they are here and I utter "I don’t know why". The cop then explains the hallway and room reeks of weed and says immediately ask us where the dope is. I look around at my buddies and we decide it’s better to tell him right away and get it over with.
He then notices on my roommates desk a full beer in a Dixie cup (we are underage) and ask to see our fridge. I oblige and he finds 24 beers. He then has us go dump them out in the bathroom with him and explains he knows exactly what we're going through, so at this point I’m like "This cop is cool but dang we are screwed". He takes us back to our room and tells us that he is not getting us for weed but just an MIP. He says that since we were so willing to work with him that he’s letting us off easy. It also helped that we had less than a blunt worth so that helped too.
Moral of the story folks, don't smoke in the dorms unless you have a good set-up and always work with the cops as sometimes they can reward you for that. We may have been the lucky ones but sometimes if you’re good the cops will cut you some breaks.
